Your role as Junior Reporting Specialist & Payroll Analyst

In this role, you'll utilize your analytical skills to strengthen the future of our HR policy. You'll collaborate with an experienced colleague to provide insights focused on the payroll of 9,000 employees across Europe (spread across 8 countries). As a Junior, you bring some experience in either reporting or knowledge of payroll. Under the guidance of your senior colleague, you'll continue to gain knowledge and experience, allowing you to grow into a true specialist in the field.

You'll be part of our HR services department. Information requests come from our HR director, HR advisors, and team leads. Therefore, you'll have a close collaboration with these colleagues and various other specialists, such as our HRIS (HR information systems) team.

Currently, we receive many reports through Excel. While we're investing in new software, in the meantime, you'll still be utilizing your Excel skills. In the future, you'll work with your colleague to build dashboards, allowing for further optimization.

Your responsibilities:

  • Compiling monthly control reports
  • Preparing salary cost budgets and bonuses
  • Providing benchmark data
  • Optimizing administrative processes
  • Keeping track of national and international labor and tax legislation

Job requirements

  • HBO level of education
  • Some experience in reporting or payroll processes
  • Strong interest in HR information systems, labor law, and payroll
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment undergoing significant digitalization in the coming years
  • Excellent command of the English language
